Science fun...
We had such a great time at the science museum yesterday! I really miss going. In the hectic pace that we've kept this fall we've missed hitting all of the places that we love... the art museum, botanical gardens, science museum, history museum. We really need to get the focus back on a few things like this. We met up with some dear friends yesterday and hit the science exhibits! We were very lucky to have a small showing in the afternoon to one of the science shows on weather. The demonstrator - one of the best we've seen yet - stayed with the kids two or three times longer than he was supposed to just showing them his favorite science experiments and demonstrations. They learned about how clouds are made, how liquid nitrogen reacts, what makes the boiling point of liquids, the science of "magic", vacuums, the weight of air, how suction doesn't exist, and more. It was great. They had a blast! I'm actually thinking of writing them a letter about him because this is who they need training their staff. Can't say enough good about him! The kids really enjoyed seeing each other and playing around.
